He is a pea, and is all about simplicity. Peaman was born from a scanned chinagraph drawing and a blot of green water-colour.

Peaman has been on numerous tv commercials as a "deliverer of specials" for supermarket giant Woolworths.

The 15' and 30' ads are animated in Flash and the character has transitioned from tweening rigged body parts, to frame by frame drawing with a custom brush stroke applied to his outlines. This preserves the drawn look he has had throughout. Toon Boom Harmony was also experimented with to attempt a quicker approach to achieve the right look of the line stroke.

Having to produce multiple ads in short amounts of time was a definite challenge, but what is kept in mind is to dish out a charmingly simple animation that does its purpose - deliver the message. Via Heckler.
